I am looking for something similar, but thinking of swapping out hte whole rear end and going monshock from an XJ900 of Venture and looking for people who may have experience with these mods.

The other versions of the monoshock ive seen for the v-max are for the really wide tyres, im not after that look either, Standard rear end is fat enough for my needs.

Hi Sharky, yes i am looking to rework the back substantially, i want to keep the same geometry, but remove all the "gubbins" reduce the fuel tank capacity move the electrics and fit a sprung saddle and new fuel tank.
