Thanks guys. Not keen on taking bike away from standard with cops. Would the pilot jet being blocked effect it only when cold?? Because it runs great when hot. I’m going to do a compression test, could it be that the rings are sealing better when hot? Or is that a silly idea.. Failing...

Yea I hear what your saying, but I’m just a bit of a stickler for detail. I’ve spotted a couple of newer ones from the use eBay I might be better just buying. I’ll keep hunting the forum for stickers etc

Quick update, Compressions on all cylinders seem to be “grouped” welll however they seeem low at 130! However it’s a cheap eBay Chinese gauge and I’m not sure the battery is 100% so I’m not concern about that really as it doesn’t smoke and it pulled like a train. (Probably carboned up due to...

Thanks!! I’ll get the compression readings back. There was spark there, and I changed out the spark plug so I’ve eliminated that. (Might check for spark strength....?) I’m keen to try this shotgun method... I’ll report back. Thanks again.
