Good idea. I was just going for something a lil deeper so it would get hit with back spray and that would catch paint into one area versus 2. I think the cap has 2 sections, but I'm sure no biggie.

Just wanted to let everyone know spraying into a small cup and then dipping a tiny brush into it seemed to work just fine. It wasn't too thin. It stuck to the exposed places just fine. Makes a world of difference when you step back. I'm sure if you examine it up close it won't look perfect...

I can't find any brush on caliper paint that is sold with just the paint. I see kits for $20, but not just the can of paint. I wonder if the calipers spray is thicker than the engine spray paint. I can do what I was originally going to do and spray into a little bowl and use a brush. I just...

Caliper paint is rated 500 degrees just like engine paint and they sell a self leveling brush on kind. I think they had semi gloss also. It also says it is resistant to automotive chemicals so I'm sure that includes gas and brake fluid. My current engine paint came right off with brake fluid...

Yeah, if it isn't chemical resistant then I would avoid that. Caliper paint might be a good idea if it's just slightly thicker to apply with a brush. I can always try the VHT and see how it goes. For sure it's designed for chemicals, and same with caliper paint. If it can resist hydrolic...
