Just fitted an Ohlins front end to my Max and it is excellent. Far more solid. Bolts straight on and around $3000 US. Don`t know where you`d get one in the USA. Comes with forks, yokes, brake brackets, R1 mudguard etc etc totally plug and play !

He`s losing some power somewhere. I had standard downpipes with Devil slash cuts and a Dynojet stage 1 all fitted by myself and made 121bhp.

I wanted the gold Ohlins forks to set off other parts of the bike. ?1800 ($3000) seemed a good deal for complete front end that just bolts on with no further mods. The engine casings are quality items not from Exactrep. Scalloped clutch cover from No1 Vmax Maestro Kiwi with Otec lock up...

Hey cousins Mark & Ande I`m here now, registered today. Went out on the Max to Portsdwon today but only plastic crotch rockets there. The 2006 makeover is going like stink, don`t think my license is going to last long !!! Does seem a bit lacking in fun on this side of the pond sometimes...
