He is right. This is no scare. When they first removed the zddp I ruined a brand new race car motor in less than 15 minutes. It wiped the lobes off the cam and ran metal through all the bearings. Shortly after I built a 383 dodge that only wiped out the cam but didn't damage the bottom end...
