    Departing for the Diavel

Not saying this type of riding can't be done on the VMAX but it sure the hell isn't as easy or as fast as a sport bike. A VMAX would get lapped by ANY sport bike on the track; granted all riders a equal because the great equalizer in this is most certainly the rider. I loved my VMAX for what...

    Departing for the Diavel

Stop light to stop light, the VMAX is king. But get past that last light and into rural America and there is no question that the Diavel is wearing the crown. This bike has the speed, power, and handling characteristics that make it a great all around ride. A friend of mine piloted the VMAX...

    Departing for the Diavel

My gas light comes on anywhere between 65-70 miles. I get to a station with about 75 and add 3.3+ gal so do the math. Maybe its 23. The Diavle is 516lbs vs 683lbs for the VMAX, so you are right but still 167lbs. The weight is very noticeable especially getting off the VMAX and onto the...

I was hoping for the Titanium but cost was too much for me so I went with the Diavel and not the carbon.

    gen 2 top speed

is that 6% throughout the entire speedo range or does the error increase as speed increases? If the speedo says 100 am I really only hitting 94? does this mean that the miles on the bike are also off? do all bikes have this speedo error?

    Departing for the Diavel

I know I'll catch all sorts of hell here but I have left for the dark side. After owning a VMAX for 20 years I decided to make a change. I have been in and out of the Ducati dealer for the past 6 weeks and this weekend I finally pulled the trigger on a new Diavel. This bike is as close to a...

    Bar End Mirrors

What size are the handlebars on the Gen2? I'm looking to add a set of Rizoma bar end mirrors. Has anyone fit a set of these mirrors to your bike? Does the Gen2 have a threaded or empty bar end? https://www.motovationusa.com/rizoma-reverse-retro-universal-mirror-bs070.html...

Gen II Mods, with stock exhaust_Re Post

I rode a stock 2014 VMAX with the ECU re flashed the past weekend and I was not able to really identify the differences. I had no idea the ECU had a re flash on it so I wasn't trying to notice anything. I found out shortly afterwards that the ECU was re flashed. After I was told, I took bike...

    Front/rear wheel removal

Does anyone know what the swing arm width is? It seems like a lot of the adjustable rear stands are 12-15". Will this fit the Gen2 swing arm?

    Sway like movement

I'm new to a shaft driven motorcycle so I was a bit worried when I downshifting coming into a corner and the rear end of the bike seemed like it had "swayed" to the right briefly then recovered. Can someone explain this strange phenomenon? I've never noticed this on a chain driven motorcycle.
