sounds like fuel is not getting to the carbs so possible blocked fuel line of gummed up filter? Is there a prize for whoever turns out to be correct :)

Have you tested the pump itself to rule it out as a problem?

I don't think it does - that function will be lost. I have that unit and this is so, also, you cannot replace the bulb in the idiot lights with an LED one or it wont work.

You can but a better solution is to get a replacement relay which simply plugs in in place of the old one under the left side air scoop. was about £17 on fleabay if I remember correctly.
