Well I did it,I kept the 9 and did some mild upgrades to it. Now it outruns the max every pass at the track. The 9 just fit my frame better. The vmax was fun for a dwarf bike . Wasn`t very comfortable for me. Ordered a nitrous kit for shits and giggles to get the flying couch more hp.

I`m 6`5" and 245lbs. the 9 fits me good. I`m starting to think I`m selling the wrong bike . Wish I could keep both.

Theres a guy in cleveland with a vmax and when I had my 9 with a 2into1 pipe,jsd3m and ducks covers he couldn`t catch me in the 1/8 mile. I thought this was good for a cruiser that outways the vmax by 150 lbs. at least.

Got to say BS on the op`s post. I have owned both bikes and they both are great for what they were intended for. The 109 is a great cruiser with tons of torque and will run with the vmax with few mods. The vmax is a true first gen sport bike and you can`t compare the two in the same category.
