Just to clarify the second gear issue. I'm checking out a Vmax on Sunday. From what it sounds like, I can just punch the accelerator hard through second and if it's bad it will just pop out at some time, correct? Are there any remedies that can be a band-aid for this issue that would cover it...

I found a 91 VMax, 40k. All stock except for a Corbin seat. The bike is in great shape, never down, clean/clear title. Seller is at $2600, bottom dollar. I'm just wondering if that is in line, or too high? I've just begun to look at picking up a Vmax, so looking for some help. TIA!
