I have a 1997 with 14000 miles and also have the "chripping" sound coming from what I think is the clutch. Same symptoms; only when moving, clutch out, approx 2200 - 3200 rpm under light acceleration, goes away if I pull the clutch in, don't hear it at idle. Anyone know what needs to be fixed?
