Wow, sad to hear of his severe illness. Great music, and too-close to my age to die.

I can never hear "American Girl" without thinking of "Silence of the Lambs." The same way that I can never hear "Baby Blue" by Badfinger without thinking of the end of "Breaking Bad."

Well now he truly is "into the great wide open."
https://youtu.be/xqmFxgEGKH0 How many famous people can you see in this video?

Yes, still hanging in there, but not looking good.

I saw a report that said the family has a "do not resuscitate" order on him, kinda premature at age 66, I think.

RIP. He music touched SEVERAL generations.

I saw several news outlets say that he was found UNCONSCIOUS and in Cardiac Arrest. If your in Cardiac Arrest.....your dead. You MIGHT be brought back......but you are dead.

RIP... some of the best, and most timeless tunes ever, in my opinion.
