gauges?

This pic was taken during a bikeweek in the Phils. I dont know the owner. Anyone know what brand of dash gauge and tach/speedo setup? Looks clean.

Looks like the "stock" vmax gauge cluster provided by Yamaha...

Yep...stock set up on a Gen 2.

Please tell me that you did not mistake a Gen 2 for a Gen 1!

Doh. I just saw the pic on Facebook on our local VMAX. Didnt show the rest of the bike so I assumed it was a Gen I.

That being said, could it be made to work on a Gen I?

I would think it could be made to work but not sure all the programming required since much of it is tied into the OEM cdi box (I have not verified this).
