corbin seat with backrest

Can someone here tell me if this backrest is removable?
I seem to remember one bolt in the center bottom-:confused2:

Yes,you are correct.The backrest slides into the underneath of seat and is held in by one bolt.There also is an adjustment to the angle of it made with an Allen wrench.

Yup. The Corbin has a single post inserted through a hole in the fibreglass pan. It is held by an allen cap bolt.
The backrest does an excellent job holding my 12 bottles in place "red-neck" style

He got the bolt out but cannot get the post out of the seat--any ideas?

Probably rusted in place. Use some penetrating fluid and see if it will free up.

I just had my seat off yesterday and it had one bolt on the bottom to remove the back rest. The seat should then have a piece of Velcro to flip over the hole left from the removal.
