A cameo is better than no role.
Here in south FL they just pulled the Dwayne Johnson tv show, "Ballers," from local production, to return to CA, because the FL state gov't had pulled the tax credits the show received, and CA had just re-instituted theirs, to lure productions back to CA. So, as a business decision, they left. I had a friend who was a production worker for them. "The Rock" of course has many south FL roots, his dad is here, and Dwayne Johnson was #2 on the U-Miami Hurricanes depth chart behind Warren Sapp, when the Hurricanes were frequent national championship contenders in football.
I still see the Hughes satellite tv commercial where there's one scene where the biker is getting repair info through his internet connection, for his VMax.
