Odyssey battery

Can someone tell me which Odyssey battery # is correct for my 06Max. PC 680, PC 680MJ, or the PC 680MJT.
I want a direct fit with no mods.... Or is there a better battery for it, (no mods).

I just recieved mine in the mail 3 days ago. It was holding 12.99 volts out of the box.

You want the PC680 but the PC680MJ will fit.

The MJ has a thin metal jacket for high temp environments. It's what I ordered becuase they were out of stock on the regular PC680.

I haven't installed it yet but every one says it's a direct fit, no mods needed.

Yep, it is a direct fit. Takes about 10 minutes to install. Great battery.

just picked up a pc 680 from a guy on ebay
(battery-web) for $108 - 10% discount total $97.20 shipped with 2 free packs of aa batterys. hes got great feedback and sounds like the best prices on the odyssey's.

Damn.. Thought I found the cheapest.:clapping:

My PC680 arrived with 12.54 volts. Only 75% charged.
Is the Odyssey ultimizer the only charger which will safely charge odyssey batteries? I read in the manual that limiting the charge voltage under 15 volts is critical. So could a good trickle charger be used instead of the $80 ultimizer?

And is it safe for the coil cases to touch the battery case? It took alittle force to push the battery into the tray. Maybe it didnt bottom out?:confused2:

Make sure it's bottomed. It's okay to touch battery as long as it's not a battery terminal.
