Well it got up to 50 by the house today . I think it was a little colder In the mountains but I got In about 200 miles done the dragon part of the moonshiner and then back across the cherahola . A good day riding all by my lonesome

Yeah I might be an oddball but I love long rides by myself
I was ready for it. I was useless yesterday laid around on in the recliner & on the heating pad all day was still hurting today but determined

I would love to meet the famous Captain! Will have to hook up with you when we do our annual Tail trip in Aug. We always stay at the ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge in Stecoah, about 15 miles south on 28 from Deals gap.
Look me up hopefully by then we will be in our own place instead of staying with my father in law and I will have my workshop all set up.

I am sure you have some nice roads around there to.
Lots of pine needles and leaves on the dragon today but very few people so it was great. I did make some pretty good time doing the cherahola.

Yep I cant wait to get out & find some of the less traveled roads to. I met some people yesterday when I stopped into Chilie's on the way home that said they would show me around when it gets warmer.
They told me I was nuts riding this time of year. Said they wont ride below 50 degrees.
LOL ! Already had the inlaws & one of there friends ask me when I was gonna do brisket & ribs. They even waited to have Turkey dinner until the day after because they wanted me to smoke it & I did not get here until about 8 in the evening on Thanksgiving.
Another nice day out today . I did not have time to go far so done the same ole same ole ride again but still had fun. I am going to take a better ride tomorrow.

Thanks the Max is just for short rides anymore. I am taking the wing out today for a decent ride. I cleaned the carbs on the max last week and syced them and threw a set of fork seals in it yesterday morning so needed to go Run it some she is running like a top. Had to make sure it was all good before Christine got back on it.
More pictures to come this evening after we take the wing out today.
