I just broke my 2nd speedometer cable in less than 300 miles. Could this be due to the fact that I have the front lowered 2 inches up front?:bang head:

Something must be binding, since it is an 86, you may want to look at a new speedo. I know they can start to rust around the cable area. Try and see how much friction/resistance there is in the speedo itself. You should be able to turn the shaft with almost no resistance. You may want to look at how you have the cable routed and determine where it is braking and it may be binding due to the lowering.... let us know what you find out.
