I have one of each, 4-2 and 4-1. I like the stainless steel best. I don't worry about the gold discoloration. Personally, I think it's cool looking. I haven't noticed much difference to performance limits of the 2 sytems. Both sound Tremendously Awesome. 4-1 is simpler. I rejetted leaner, one size needed for the 4-2 I have and 3 sizes for the 4-1. That may not hold true for everyone because of variations in Outlet size of the systems, altitude and so on.
