Good morning... this has now happened twice so I thought Id ask. I turn on the key and without touching the starter I will immediately get a single fire from one of the cylinders. It doesn't backfire though the intake its just a quick single poof through the exhaust. Anything to worry about?

"Clearing its throat."

I suppose it's from a bit of a residual rich mixture left in the exhaust pipes, though I don't know why the primary circuit would be generating a spark before the starter is thumbed.

I have also had this happen on the early model Vmax's 1985's ~ 1989's and just attributed it to the early model ECU's
