Hi all:

I hope everyone's doing okay out there.

Question for y'all about installing some new 90 degree valve stems I purchased for my Max. They are from Moto-D Racing, and can be seen at this address: http://www.motodracing.com/performa...rcycle-Valve-Stems/p/14191556/category=460812

The manufacturer/dealer decided, apparently, that everyone's an expert on mounting these...but, of course, THEY WERE WRONG! I even emailed them but got a non-helpful response.

So, 3 questions really:

1) Should I apply some lube to the rubber sealing element?
2) Should I use threadlock on the nut?
3) How tight should the nut be?

Thanks everyone!

I installed mine with no lube. I put blue loctite on them. I tightened the nut with a 1/4" drive ratchet to the point that I would consider them to be tight.
It's aluminum threads so don't get crazy.
