I have a 2006 busa bad tranny and would like to put the full front end on my 85 plus the rear wheel how hard will this be or should i fix the transmission. thinking of hotrod or restoring

My opinion is it will be a better thing to ride to fix the transmission than to adapt those parts to your VMax, and easier. You can probably do it more quickly, too.
I have the triples required to move over the front end available here. The rear would require some custom machine work and a friend had that done (with a busa wheel) with Kosman some years ago.

If you are looking to source custom triples, remember the busa forks are 55mm OD near the bottom clamp vs the typical 54mm

I know the max would turn out great and look hot. the cafe racer look is fun. even a 1500 has a hard keeping up busa. a restore would be cool for the grandkids.i know my wife likes riding on the max,she hates the suzy.
