This isnt anything fantastic, but I know some people like to see picture threads of before and afters......
The risers had a extended portion that was the same diameter of the fork tube, and that went into the bar clamp end. Here you can see that riser before I machined it.
Here it is getting machined. I have to interpolate the radius .325 roughly. .200 above the surface and .125 below the surface.
Here it is machined.
Here is a 3/4 top view of it so you can see the raised portion compared to the machined one on the right hand side. Stock left hand, machined right hand.
Here is a side. Stock left, machined right.
Here is an internal view. Stock left, machined right. As you can see it would be a positive stop for the forks. They could not go through the entire riser. Now they can.
Here it is with the stock fork height from the factory with the risers on and the bar end clamps on.
Here is after view with forks raised .835 up the triple tree.
I figured under 1" is good enough for now until I get the oil pan modded. But I don't want to mod my oil pan thats on the bike, I am trying to find a good used one. Or atleast one I can get dimensions off of to prototype out a new pan.
