Has anyone installed one of these aftermarket radiators? Any issues with installation?
Claims 30% increase in capacity, so does that mean keeps the motor cooler?
Also, can these be painted black without hurting the cooling abilities?

I have already changed the thermostat, but the oem radiator has a bit of wear from rocks and shit.

I have one very similar to it from gpi racing fits slightly tighter and does cool better. I'm sure it would keep paint and still cool as well

I have one and you're to paint it, paint only the housing and not the cooling fins.

i have no problems with fitment or performance.

No, the temperature of the coolant will be determined by the thermostat.

I guess anything between the base metal and atmosphere will reduce heat transfer.
However as most motorcycles seem to have black radiators I suspect the difference is minimal.
Go ahead and paint away.

You can paint, but don't use header paint or any other hi temp stuff. They insulate. You can ask a radiator shop for recommendations.

Welding ali is easy, its the super alloys, duplex and super duplex alloys that are a pain, lol.
