forgot to update this. not only was it back in my hands in 24 hours they tried to 'fix' the bad one, but with the tolerances what they were, they were 'digging' into where it needed to be cut instead of 'milling' and he said he didn't trust it so he gave it back to me, still busted.
anyways, put the 'good' on and test fitted it without swapping rims, seemed good. put the new rim and did about 100 miles since then with the bike. works great, no issues, except for after 70 miles on sunday i forgot to turn my key to 'off'. oh well! its been shite weather to ride here anyways.
