Am fixing the starter clutch on my '90 and when I removed the flywheel bolt the oil wire that was supposed to be there wasn't there. I didn't lose it, it just wasn't there. I would like to replace it but cannot find one anywhere. Anybody know where to get one? Thanks!

Just got the wire. Wanted to say "Bravo" to Morley Muscle for the help. That's how customer service is done! Thank you again!

It's an oil "pump" of sorts.

From the Web:

"...Early models (83-85) of the Venture originally had stator failures due to heat. Yamaha designed a "Stator Coil Oil Cooling Kit" (Part # 90891-30014) to provide an oil spray onto the windings to remove heat. The kit contains a rotor bolt that is drilled out through the center, a slinger in the bolt hole and plates to direct the oil back onto the stator as it is slung out of the bolt..."

This is the kit (comes standard on the Vmax and all 86-up ventures)
