4 barrel manifold setup
Anyone have input on this set up?

Having a round air cleaner between your knees would look good imo.

Not sure about that one, but Dale Walker had a set up like that for awhile. However the 4 barrel carb is way too much carb for the VMax. Even the smallest 2 barrel makes it run rich.

I guess rich is better than lean. Do you recall if the performance was still up there with a 2 barrel?

Take a look through here.

There is also a dyno sheet showing 116+ hp with a similar setup, there as well.

LOL... I'll stick to my stock carbs and 124 BHP.

I had this same question when Ethinol totally FU'd my carbs. It's just not a reasonable request to put an automotive carb on a 1200 CC Max, Sadly.

116 hp aint bad. And said a 500 single barrel did better.
I just like the look of a single round air cleaner and no fake scoops.

Re: 4 barrel manifold setup
We debated making an intake to use a delorto twin 44 (IDF) carb setup. I think it would work quite well. Maybe later this year?? Too many projects lol.
