Hello All
Did a search and couldnt come up with anything so I was wondering...:ummm:

Is any one running or have opinions on the above shocks. Found some on ebay, wondering if they are worth it. I know anything is better than stock :icon_rolleyes:

I've looked at GSX shocks a few times. They bolt right on and are the same length, and as you said, are way better than stock. The only problem I've found is that I've only seen them available from UK sellers, so by the time you factor in $ exchange and shipping, I"m probably better off getting a pair of Works shocks. Also I don't know if the GSX shocks are rebuildable.

Yeah those are all factors I have been considering as well. I will keep an eye on them and if they go for a good price I will consider it.
Thanks for your help

I believe it came out in 2001 up to 2006 and here is a link to some pics

You can see by the pics it is a traditional swing arm with dual rear shocks.
Plus I dont think it is available in North America. Janpan and Europe only.

Cheers:cheers:

I also checked into the GSX1400 shocks. It's a Europe only model bike and the shocks do fit right on a Max. It's a somewhat popular mod in Europe. New, the shocks are almost as much as Ohlins and other piggyback shocks.

If you buy any, be careful. There were two versions according to the GSX forums. The early, all silver ones had a big problem with leaking oil and apparently were replaced by Suzuki on a number of units under warranty. There is a later model shock that has red springs that is supposed to be more reliable.

Don't get too excited boys, seems like most or all of the 1400's were restricted to 100 hp.
