diaphrams

Anyone have any tricks of the trade as to how to get the diaphramsto stay:bang head: in their grooves? Only 2 hands and i have tried stretching but have only 1 in place. No suction on the other 3.

Does anyone know the best option for replacing gen1 carb diaphrams? The rubbers on a couple of mine are not soft ( not cracked) but hard..:ummm:

has anyone here used the slide diaphrams from python?they're only 63.00,about 27.00 less than oem that i've seen.

hi everybody just thought that now would be a good time to see if anybody had a good set of diaphrams or new of a place to get them cheaper than at the dealers. thanks for any help this is definatley one cool site for fellow maxers.

HI all, While reading about all the carb. probs and specifically the rubber diaphrams I was wondering--------------- Is there any substance that will keep these expensive rubber and plastic bits living longer without cracking???????? Lew
