I see a few have stock pipes and have drilled out the ends of their mufflers. Has anyone done any tests to see how this effects performance? (I don't want to loose any performance in case I ride with Mike again)

I drilled the stock pipes and like the sound that came out. Unfortunately everything I read about this causing the bike to run rich occured and now it runs poorly and will stall if I idle around town to much. I can smell the rich exhaust when at idle. I know that I can adjust the A/F...

Who will be the first to try this and see what they sound like? It apears that the exhaust tip cover can be easily removed, the exhaust can beneath drilled around the outlet pipe, and then the cover replaced. I may try it as long as I can weld the holes shut again if I don't achieve the...

This is not about vmaxes but about gas which effects us all. How many here think we need to start drilling in Alaska and Canada. I do! plus tap into our oil reserve to compensate.
