This is where to put errors found in official manuals and your interpretation of what they should have/could have said. For example, the position of camshaft lobes to check valve clearances cannot be done the way VMAX Service Manual LIT-11616-14-12 says to do it. My post points out the error...

Hi chaps, only manuals I see available for the max are clymer / haynes etc model years 96-03, anyone seen one covering up to model year 2006 or is it the same? Cheers Guys, R

I have tried searching for a haynes manual for my 2007 but the ones I find stop at 2003. Are there many technical differences in the 07 from the 03 or would the 03 manual give me a good referrence source. I have the pdf version of the haynes manual but I didn't get the cover so I'm not sure...

I am usually a fan of the OEM manuals but I am now able to sell the clymer manuals. Many are $30 plus shipping (retail is $35). I'll try to stock the Vmax manuals anyway so it could be shipped with other parts purchased from me to cut costs down to add the manual. Sean

I'm sure someone has asked this before but.... I'm looking at shop manuals for the VMAX and all the ones I've found say that they apply to the model years 1985 to 2003. Mine is an 04 is there ANYTHING about the 04 to 08 models that's different? What about the difference between Clymer and...
