I e had enough of this air box f'ing about.. Before I buy new does anyone here have a good used set ?

I'm tight on space....looking for pros and cons of 4 individual filters versus Morely airbox mod and kit. Thoughts please....

There is a listing on eBay for pods that look like pitbike filters.it says in most cases you won't have to rejet,maybe adjust a/f screws some.is there any truth to that or will carbs freak out?it would run the same as removing airbox,correct?

My new to me 99 has the 4 K&N pod filters with the 4 into 1 Kerker, don't know what main jets, has adjustable slide needles, if I wanted to put a stock air box back on, would I need to rejet? also, are these K&Ns pods safe in the rain?
