I think those are probably related to the other $100 eBay shocks and would be horrendously under-sprung. I'm pretty sure the max load listed on the headstock sticker is 1100 lbs. A set of springs rated barely half that won't even come close...

Or I'm totally wrong and they're awesome.

what is the spring weight for the vmax.

If they're anything like like other $100 gas reservoir shocks on eBay last few years they're definitely shit. I know someone who tried those and they were cheap crap.

Good reservoir shocks run around $800-$1200 a pair or more so you gotta know its too good to be true.

Also check "Item applications"
States for Maxes "1985-2013"
If they can't get the application right, doesn't say much for the company, or the product.
BUYER BEWARE!!

Mate stay well clear. A friend bought a set off ebay for around $150 AUD and they were woeful. Undersprung, dangerously. Rusted and looked like crap after a month.

I fitted ICON classics (look like the original but a far superior shock) and had the front end worked by a racing suspension specialist. He matched the front and rear with the right springs, emulators, heavier oil and OMG it transformed MAX from a wollowing flexiframe pinball lurching from corner to corner to a bike that now sits solid and doesnt dive under brakes.

I read a write up on another site about these Ebay shocks. NOT GOOD!!! One of the shocks actually broke as the shocks bottomed out over a rail crossing....at low speeds, as the shocks were quite mushy to begin with
