Could be a small crack on your diaphram cover causing an air leak. I had a similar problem on my #3 cylinder carb. Switching to a good cover took care of the problem for me. You could try switching the diaphram cover from the offending carb to one thats working correctly to see if the problem...

I got them from a fellow maxxer that used to live down the street from me. You might be able to find some from a member here or on ebay.

I put a pair of Holeshot cans on my Ufo system. The inlet side fits perfectly and only had to make a small bracket to be able to mount the cans properly. The sound difference is amazing!
