I agree with the ELR. I had #620 of 750 made. Rode that bitch so hard I broke the frame. The only bike I have ridden to it’s limits and still felt confident in. And yes, I didn’t change the shocks.... I’m 6’2” 180 so they worked for me.
generally speaking, yes, but probably for a limited time only. My days of 'sport biking' and playing around on the curves with pegs scraping are over... I ride differently now. I enjoy going places and seeing/doing things while on a bike. I remember when I was but young getting up at 3:30 in...
Here is my darkside... which will be used mostly for the drag strip. I have 4 other bikes to ride for 'going places'. P.S. I also darkside on my Valkyrie... see pic. And to those who don't approve of my choices, well, like we 'truckers' say: you drive your rig and I'll drive mine. (I have...
Agreed. I just bought my gen 2 and have my darkside for when I burn up the OEM.... mostly for the track.
Question for you and your new gen 2..... any issues of going into 3rd gear..?
Just bought a new 2019 and I'm breaking it in..... but 3rd gear is almost always difficult, hard to shift. It really takes a conscious effort and this happens mostly at the higher rpms... (but nothing over 6000).
Anyone else have such an issue.? I'm thinking that it needs another clutch plate...
Hey Rick; I have a 2019 .... would like to upgrade like you have. Where can I find those hi way pegs and what is the specific model of Viking bags..?
Thanks
