A guy at the local bike meet claims he spoke to someone at Mitsui who told him the new Max is a 9.5sec qtr machine. I cant vouch for the accuracy but the same guy knew the UK MRSP a month before Yamaha UK released it so he is either...

I got the Yamaha brochure with same cover pic as yours when I paid my deposit but was told owners info pack inc DVD to follow.
Do US VMAX orders have the personally chosen engraved plaque? The reason I ask is my buddy in Sweden says he wasn't given that option when he ordered.
According to Ken at Padgetts of Batley (probably the biggest Yamaha dealer here in the UK) the stock swingarm will accept a 9.5 inch rim so hopefully a 280 section will fit if he is correct.
