Hello,
I purchased a 1990 Vmax 1200 last fall with 20K miles on it. I have put another 2k miles on it over the winter. I call her Barabara Steele AKA Babbs. Past bikes I've owned were 1996 Triumph Trophy 1200, 1976 Honda 550F Super Sport, 1974 Honda CB360. Babbs is by far the most fun of that bunch for raw acceleration grins! The Trophy was a remarkable steed for long hauls and reliability though.
Since purchasing in October 2020 I have
1-Changed oil
2-Replaced rear wheel bearing
3-Replaced Clutch slave cylinder
4-Replaced front and rear brake pads
5-Flushed coolant, replaced hoses with silicone hoses.
Planned work summer 2021
1-Replace starter clutch disc (have all parts and gaskets, just need a free day to start this.).
2-Replace clutch friction discs.
