I'll just about bet I'd be better off with the original plan of custom handlebars. Anyone have any experience with the 7/8" to 1" handlebars shims... I wouldn't mind using some risers to do what I want to accomplish, but the shims kinda worry me.

I'm not looking just for something that fits... Looking for something that works as well. I know some of the Star lines are 1", but I know nothing about the equipment to say as whether or not it would work.

Hey Sean - you might know... the risers compatible with Vmax always tend to show 1/2 - 13 mounting bolt specs. I believe the riser mounts to be 3 1/2" apart on the triple clamp. Is this correct? If so... there are some Harley TBars that might just be a direct fit.

I don't see any that will accept the 7/8" controls... Does anyone know if some of the 1" controls of other Yammys will match the wiring harness? Maybe that's how it was accomplish. Looked pretty stock, though.
