other than the possibility of the relay only working "part of the time" what else could be starving it? I did the shotgun already...and the bowls when I drained them didnt seem to have a lot of gas in them

Does anyone have a reasonably priced fuel pump relay for sale or have one I can borrow to see if that's why my vmax won't start? New fuel pump (pumps gas when the hose is disconnected on the carb side) max runs if you add gas or carb cleaner to the carbs. When the key is turned on, it clicks...

Danny's hooking me up with a new slide (thanks Danny) and I ordered 4 new air/fuel mixture screws from boats.net :punk:

ugh....nm....cracked it in 5 pcs when putting it on. Time for a new one.

found it! does the metal ring need to be sealed to the slide? I'm using my good diaphragm from the cracked one onto the other one.

I did the shotgun and when spraying the slides and diaphragms down, I noticed a hairline crack going from the top to the bottom on one of the slides. I'm going to check and see if I still have my "spare" one. If I don't...where's the cheapest place to get one (as a unit minus the needle)

I hooked another hose up to the outlet side and hit the key...pumped out good! Must be something further past...gonna try the shotgun tomorrow.

I'll have to check for kinked lines and do the shotgun tomorrow on my day off.
