    Mike Kemp halo lights.

As a happy purchaser of Mike Kemp's Halo light set, I originally thought they are expensive but after installing, they are very professionally made, signals work fantastic and look great and even the bright daytime running lights (DRLs) give off extra needed light to see better and be seen...

Replace them with a stainless steel bolts. I bought kits for my Gen 1 and FJs. Somebody online probably sells them.

Anyone have a 17" rear wheel they want to sell? Thanks.

    Looking to attach trailer

I had a trailer for my 2001 VMax and 1886 Venture Royale and rode it from Canada to Guatemala. Hauling a trailer takes away most of the fun of riding. Windy areas make you slow down a lot. Parking is a pain. There is a company in Canada called Third Wheel Trailers that makes a hitch for 2nd...

    Highest mileage on your Vmax.

I would trust Gen 2 mileages more than Gen 1's. After 100,000, kms or miles, Gen 1's just start over at 0 mileage. I see a lot of extremely low mileage bikes that have aftermarket exhausts, LEDs, boost not working, 2nd gear problems, etc. that I can see are just not low mileage. Just a...

The bypass is there to bypass a plugged oil filter. "Dirty oil flow is preferable to no oil flow." First year trade school teaches that. Change your oil filter regularly.

Rotella T6 Made My clutch go out!!!!

I tried a lot of different oils (even coloured oils ... blue, red and a bunch of different brands in my Barnett clutch equipped 2001 VMax with Otec, see-through side covers. I have not tried Rotella although I am sure it is fine as many can attest. I had clutch problems every time, sometimes...

I am also in on purchasing a McCruise Cruise Control for my 2009 VMAX. I have talked with Jim Bitolas and McCruise and Jim volunteered his VMAX to use as a prototype. I arranged with McCruise to talk with Jim and he did. Since then, nothing has happened at McCruise. I have talked with...

IMO as a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Motorcycle Mechanic, I found the contents to be very unprofessional, just a few connectors with a lot of loose wires and non-existent detailed instructions. I tried talking with them .. no answers. I just said I am not doing this. With so many...

    Gen2 turn signals

Just added Mike Kemp's Halos to my 2009 and it works and looks great. Nice white light for daytime running lights and bright orange for signals. Pretty hard not to seen by anyone in front of you. Directions were easy to follow.

Does this look like normal wear?

Get the oil good and hot before changing. You can cut the oil filter and take a look.

I have sent them Jim's information and Jim has been in contact with them a few times as well as occasional emails from both of us. Maybe it would help to send them an email if you are interested. (And even if you aren't interested; may help us.)

For me, the problem was not having any support after the purchase and I am not going to hack ECU wiring and then find out there is a strange problem afterwards. PITA trying to troubleshoot electronics without any information or support. I would avoid them totally.
