I've had a couple. I currently have a 1986 VF700C for buddies without bikes to ride. There are only two problems with magnas: the valve trains on all but 1986 and up of all displacements and the front brakes. They are the goddamn worst. There is no fixing them either because of the TRAC system.
Finished up my driver footpegs. They are a little long now, but I designed in the capacity to shorten them in 7.4mm increments until they don't scrape.

I'd definitely get one from Sean if I had it to do over. Boxxenstop sent me this POS for $200:
I ended up getting one from Exactrep, which is beautiful but no nicer than the ones Sean offers.

I don't know about just as much light as an HID. I have HID in my stock bucket and I've never seen a halogen that's even close. I have daylight at night.

The gold spots are lighter. They have aluminum pistons. The blue have steel pistons. Everything else is the same.
I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Thanks. It is actually a Hammerhead lever meant for a BMW GS 1100. My whole shift lever and linkage is modified to make my bike more comfortable for me.

I have not ridden with them yet. I had grip tape on the crash bars before and that was a great place to put your feet. Problem was; I kept cooking my calves if I wasn't wearing my boots.
I'd love to ride but I live in Minnesnowta. This is what it looks like outside this morning:
