you might be better to remove covers paint and then replace with new gaskets because if you paint everything in one go and then need to remove a cover for whatever reason at a later date there is a good chance you will chip or damage paint around bolts and joint

looking for info on re-coating/painting engine on my max. has any one any had good results from particular etch primers, heat resistant paints etc. what brands work best with out having to cure complete engine in an oven. thanks

ye looked at xj option but doesnt match my front rim close enough (gsxr1100 front end) maybe im just too fussy .

there is a factory offset and then there are the aftermarket offsets send me your email and ill show you a pic of one that will shock you (and the guy wanted more than a $1000) unfortunatly im a bit of a retard with my laptop and dont know how to get pics from my email onto this site

so your saying you can buy wheel (from ebay)with 3/8" or more offset and there is enough adjustment + notching to get it aligned dead centre ? what size tyre do you have on rim ?please show pics
