Just bought a First Gear Onyx Magnetic Tank Bag and I think it is the perfect size for the V-Max. The bag is similar in shape and size to the one I use to have when I had my first V-Max. Do a search on it and see what you think.

As everyone knows, the VMax scoops are bad to corrode... as mine have on my new-to-me 1998. My question is, can the clear coat be removed and the corrosion removed and re-clear coated to look like factory scoops? If so, can anyone describe the process for me?
