The blast is probably a night blast. Its when they set off explosive to remove larger pieces of the mountain. I'll let you know when the date is closer if I can ride or not. Don't know my schedule that far out.

Anyone coming to Sturgis interested in a group ride. A couple of us locals are trying to set up a VMAX ride.

Was your 1/8 mile time a 5.83 ? I ran a 6.83 @ 107 mph with the airbox mod and new exhaust. At 126 mph you must have done better than a 6.83. A full second faster than me!:punk:

Many people are running 2 but I haven't heard of anyone trying 3. Let us know how it goes and how much of the slipper clutch you lose.

The numbers don't do it justice. It has the most hp but lacks in all other areas. Mine rides like I wanted my 05 to. My 09 could use some more power and torque. Right now its streetable but I would like to make some mods that will make it out of control. Its just like the gen 1, makes you want...

Geico insured me with just the vin so I could ride my VMAX home. But I did have to take the paper work in for them see. They printed out a temporary insurance card.

The cat sass will accept other cans, you can call jon and talk to him about it. The kick the cat is for the stock cans only. I heard Dale Walker has a 09 to use now and is making an exhaust for it.

Have you seen one in person yet? There were lots of people that didn't see or touch one in real life until they picked theirs up, what a build up in excitement that must have been! I saw and sat on one in STURGIS so that was kind of a spoiler for me. Enjoy your new VMAX and ride safe! Congrats!
