    Neutral Light Stuck On

I was afraid you were gonna say that. I've unhooked the neutral safety switch and it's still on. I unplugged it from the harness under the left side panel. Still on. So it's safe to assume at this point, it's in the harness somewhere? With the light being on all the time, I assume it's grounding...

    Neutral Light Stuck On

Normally, replacing the bulb would be a good idea, but I'm 100% positive the bulb works. It's stuck on all the time. :) I'm convinced it's a grounding issue somewhere. Since I've never really dug into the wiring harness in depth, I'd assume there's some obvious points that maybe a ground would...

    Neutral Light Stuck On

Okay, here's the deal. My neutral light is on, no matter what gear I'm in. The bike will start and run in any gear and the only way I can make the light go off is to put it in gear and put the kickstand down. I've checked the neutral safety switch and it's good. The kickstand switch seems to...

    Possible different ignitions idea.

I was running the dynatek, but had to pull it for the COP swap. It's a wash really. I didn't notice a damn bit of difference except for the rev limiter. MPH at the track was identical. I still have it, but won't likely put it back in as I have come to love the COP.

    Possible different ignitions idea.

Bummer. I'd buy the MC-4 if it would work. It's a shame really... :(

    Possible different ignitions idea.

Am I wrong to think that replacing your ignition with a non-specific VMax ignition would cause problems with activating your fuel pump? I've spoken to MSD at length about using their MC-4 ignition and no one I spoke to at MSD could say it wouldn't work, most I spoke with said it probably could...

    Headset info wanted

I've been using the Q2 now for the last summer. It's been awesome as well and can report the same experiences as everyone else has. I have used it with my Blackberry's bluetooth MP3 player and it does work, though the sound quality wasn't the best, but I can't blame it totally on the headset...

    Gear selection switch

So if I understand this right, when the bike is in the gear that matches up to appropriate pin, it grounds that circuit? That means if I wanted to turn one stage of nitrous on in 2nd gear and in third, turn on a second stage, I would run the ground wires to the appropriate pin. If that is the...

    Gear selection switch

That's exactly what I need. Are you saying you have a spare you'll sell or can you point me in a direction to find one of these? Thanks Sean! -Jeremy

    Gear selection switch

Okay guys, put your thinking caps on. I'm looking for a way on a first gen Max to turn a 12v DC device on only in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear. In other words, I need a way to turn something on without pushing a button when the bike is in those gears. I don't want to turn it on in first gear under any...

    First Dyno Pull

Yeah, I obviously can't take a picture. The red dotted line is 13 and the line above is 14, the line below is 12. The dip appears to be the vboost coming on. I have seen the same thing where they go pig rich before. I don't know what would be the best steps for cleaning the vboost transition up.

    First Dyno Pull

I've had my '94 for a little over a year now and have taken it to a local Dyno to check the AFR. I didn't want them tuning the bike or monkeying with anything, so I had 3 pulls to see how close I got the jetting. The bike runs okay since I don't have much to compare it to except for this site...

    Cracking Shinkos

I'll take a look at mine and respond later as well. I've got about 2000 miles on mine and haven't noticed anything yet, but didn't look at where you're describing very closely.

    I need your valuable opinions

Call Mark back and ask him about this: http://www.hpcoatings.com/chromeshield.html I've never tried it myself, but sounds like it solves the discoloring problem with chrome on single walled pipes. If you do end up doing this, let us know how it turns out. It sounds pretty tempting...
