Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I'll start with fork springs, head bearings and rear shocks and then move on to solid motor mounts.
I'm not expecting the max to handle the twisties like a crotch rocket, but it shouldn't make me feel uncomfortable either

I did check the air pressure in the front forks and it had 0 psi in both sides. I got them at 12 psi now and that helped quite a bit.

I've had crotch rockets and cruisers but this is the first bike that doesn't make me feel confident in the corners. Is this common with the vmax? Is it just a matter of getting use to it?

Well I ordered a lift stand. Should be here in about a week or so. In the mean time I took her out for a long ride today and things seemed 100% better. I'm not sure if things worked themselves out or maybe I was imagining it all. Either way as soon as I get the lift I'll check everything out...
So I just picked up my 94 yesterday and on my first ride I'm noticing it seems to wander a little at speeds below 40. I've been reading through some of the posts on this forum and I want to check to see if the head bearings are loose. My question is how can I raise the front wheel off the ground...
