What's the latest on the efi build? I (and a lot of other people I'm sure) am chomping at the bit to hear anything. Progress? Setbacks? You thought about it at work one day? I am trying to be funny, but anything would shut me up.

I wasn't trying to find a cheaper way around it, I was just wondering if it was to be a complete bolt-on type of kit. It sounds great though and I hope my financial aid department approves this expense.

Hey Gary (or anybody), I have a couple of questions. How do the gsxr 600 tb's fit onto the stock manifold of the vmax? Is it necessary to control ignition with the Haltech 'puter? For someone keeping their max stock-ish and not adding nos or turbo, controlling ignition may not necessary (or...

I could be wrong, but I don't think Haltech makes the E8 anymore. It looks like the E6X is about the replacement model. How about using the F10X for the budget minded kits. It doesn't control ignition but it is much cheaper. Just a thought.

Good luck with the efi kit, I'll be eagerly waiting. Can't get myself to pony up the $4250 for Bill's efi. Has anybody considered using the throttle bodies off of a Honda vfr 800? It might be less to modify than an inline four's. I think the key for keeping the price down and making it easy...

I know you can use R1 calipers on a max, but can you use R6 calipers? They appear to be the same but I would like to know for sure.
