well if u do decide to go with a different shock (and I would the stock shocks suck) I'd go with a 1 or 2in. taller shock then u can get plenty of adj. for a little more comfort as u will be able to set them on a softer pre load, but DO try the maxgasser seat, believe me your wife will love u...

Same Here, very few vmax's around, BUT i' am not close to being an outcast, the Harley Riders Here seam to always gather around checking out the Vmax, many asking what is it, the ones that know of it always say (that's a vmax U don't want to try to talk about how fast your Harley is around this...

the grips are kuryakyn, and they were a breeze to put on, as for how much I have in the bike i'am not really sure, way more than my wife is happy with for sure.
