VIN is stamped into the headtube (steering tube) on the frame. There should also be a white data sticker there that would have the date, as well.

He’d have better results if he stuck a deer carcass behind one end of the box to angle it so the snow would plow to the side rather than all straight ahead. Or, he could put it in the center and have the box bend around it..... a homemade V-plow:)
