it's actually had the supertrapps replaced with the 4-1 hindle now....and PCW actually did the original build....Sean helped with the rebuild after it lost a rod a few years ago.
and 11,000 rpm?!!! pshhhh. that thing sounded so sweet up there i wanted it to got to 20,000rpm! that thing...

i ended up finding a local ex-yamaha mechanic, dan stadt (stadtcycle.com) that had started off on his own repair shop. he took the rebuild project on with direct phone and parts help from sean and he got it back together without an issue. Thing has run...
just talked to sean on the phone.....wow! what a nice and knowledgable guy.
i'm definitely going to use him as a resource for parts and advice through this project of getting dad's v-max back together.
