I remember seeing this max at Steve Taylors workshop a good few years back and bought the seat/tank exhausts I'm sure it was covered in a British bike mag back in the day.

I changed my gen 1 , 95, unit a few years back , 10 years or so, along with the frame brace. I bought a kit from Korry Hogan that included the filter housing and a washable filter.Still working fine. Can't remember his company name.

This one works fine with my forward controls - it came from extracep (England) a few years back.

All comments apppreciated... emblems valid point, they are going and the caps are off my Honda Transalp, kept losing them so stuck them on the Vmax. I will look into the clamps/chamferring you mention - thanks for pointing that out!! My cheap camera has not done the paintwork justification...

A lot of time and patience to get them where I wanted them... had to make something for the rubbish weather we have and also to help my seating/riding position as the velocity stacks (and some K&N's I have tried and fitted) made the bike too wide for my forward controls - pained my old knees...
